Yard News - Updates from the Customer Reps

It’s mid winter, or is it? The Patriots won the AFC championship this past weekend. The Super Bowl is coming up and gathering lots of attention. Before we know it the Big game will be here, and suddenly the New England Boat Show will be upon us. Just a few short weeks after the show, we will be launching our first boat of the season! Where has the winter gone?

That’s right; Burr Brothers will be at the New England Boat Show this year February 11-19. We are excited to have an opportunity to catch up with our customers and maybe even meet a few new ones. It has been interesting around here as the team gears up to work the show. There has been a lot of reflection about who we are and what we do. So many of us have worked here for so long. It is not uncommon to be “one of the new guys” and have been here for fifteen years! We are so fortunate to have such a talented crew. We have been putting slide shows together for the show and I have been struck by the fact that I sometimes take for granted just how talented out crew really is! At Burr Brothers, we know great customer service is in the details.  Every boat is different.  Every customer has unique wants, needs and standards.  That’s why we match each boat owner with one of our most experienced people.  That Customer Representative then shepherds the boat through all phases of maintenance and repair, and ensures that the details which are important to that owner are addressed. 

This time of year, the customer representatives spend a fair amount of time coordinating the work.  When they are not in the office puzzling over the board, they are out inspecting the boats.
